I don’t know.. really looks like Vettel steers to the right, trying to block H amilton and risking an accident..

steers to the right.. countering a slide
i know wich side im leaning towards
but the call has been made
damned if that didnt kill the race tho

Yeah could be true.. to me it just doesn’t look like he’s in danger of spinning but what do I know..
Yeah it sure killed the race. It sure decided the race.. I mean even if you agree that a punishment was necessary.. could have been only 3 seconds, changing the outcome the other way

welp at least it showed on the power tracks the ferraris can compete
im not sure how much that means in the grand scheme of things...
redbulls are going backwards tho :(

I’m inherently anti-hammy, but I think vettel could’ve kept it to the left or, ya know, not just stuffed it through the chicane in a desperate attempt to stay in front.

Wow, I couldn’t make it through thirty seconds of that guy talking. Anyone got a summary that’s more to the point than the knob in the Youtube video?

Well like he said, where was he going to go? His brakes and steering don’t work on grass, it’s just useless at that point, you can’t slow down or steer anywhere else. No idea how the stewards thought there was a option to reenter safely?? I think physics was never going to allow anything else to happen. By the time he gets all four wheels on the track and gets some control he is too close to the wall for Hammy to get by so he takes off as fast as he can. Crap call if you ask me, it was just lucky they didn’t collide and take out the leaders.

It was indeed crap, but it was another unforced error Seb brought on himself. He put himself in that situation unfortunately.

He just came off a patch of grass at who knows what speed, he barely gets all four wheels on and gets some control, all within a couple seconds. I’d say he did all he could.
